On the afternoon of Friday 15 March, I visited the Brussels local channel (Bruxelles Francophone, because there's also Dutch-speaking Brussels and their local channel is Bruzz).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is BX1?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BX1 is one of the local channels in FWB (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Wallonie Bruxelles). In the FWB there are 12 Proximity Channels, excluding the RTBF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BX1 is +\/- 50 journalists, a few technicians and a BX1+ studio. BX1+ is a radio station that is active on the web and on DAB+ radio (Brussels, but not only; Li\u00e8ge, Charleroi and Mons are just a few kilometres from Brussels).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
