On the afternoon of Friday 15 March, I visited the Brussels local channel (Bruxelles Francophone, because there's also Dutch-speaking Brussels and their local channel is Bruzz).

What is BX1?

BX1 is one of the local channels in FWB (Fédération Wallonie Bruxelles). In the FWB there are 12 Proximity Channels, excluding the RTBF.

BX1 is +/- 50 journalists, a few technicians and a BX1+ studio. BX1+ is a radio station that is active on the web and on DAB+ radio (Brussels, but not only; Liège, Charleroi and Mons are just a few kilometres from Brussels).
