This Monday morning (12.02.2024), it was François le Hodey (Managing Director of the IPM Group) on the 1st - RTBF I've heard all about the difficulties in the print media (less advertising in daily newspapers, and fewer printings of paper newspapers).

I've heard their problems.
That's why I support the written press (La Libre , Les Editions de L'Avenir Presse and La Dernière Heure).

I can't believe the ruling (contract of bpost Federal Government and press publishers) yes, when I say press publishers, I mean ; IPM Group (IPM Advertising), the Rossel group, DPG Média and Mediahuis.

That's why I subscribe to @lalibrebe, @ladh and @lavenir_net (web version)...

Of course, back then I still knew paper newspapers, but now in 2024 there are still paper newspapers, but less than before! What I've noticed since COVID-19 is that there are more and more subscribers on the web and fewer paper newspapers...

I imagine that older people still take paper newspapers!

Oh yes, I can't believe the management contract with @RTBF / @RTBFinfo to broadcast the articles (Le Soir, Sudinfo@lalibrebe @ladh and @lavenir_net) free of charge on their websites (rtbf.be/info), the print media are already in trouble as it is with the digitisation of newspaper titles, fewer subscribers to paper newspapers but ++ to web versions, etc...
